Did you run the 2.5in screws thru the top when attaching or from underneath?

Cleaned the drain, pump still not draining the water, so I ordered a replacement pump. Will install it tomorrow when it arrives via Amazon. Great video!

Informative video. Very cute helper who has as many skills as some of the apprentices I’ve had. Personally, if it’s $25 against $130, I’m for supporting the local parts store in my town over Amazon. The money stays local. If it were $100 versus $1000, it might be different.

Thanks for the tips. Mine was a plugged screen. $1.50 in (gross) spare change, 3 cat's worth of pet hair and 2 full heads of kid hair. I couldn't get my daughter to help though.

So my front loader is a duet and i can onlu access the filter by squeezing my hand through the losend bottom. Ive had to do clean the filter several times over the last year. Now it wont drain and the filter is not clogged. So im guessing its the pump after watching this. How can i access this? I can only remove the bottom two screws.

Embarrassed to say that I'm a mechanic that didn't have time to do this so I gave the green light for my girlfriend to buy a new set of machines 2 days ago....did this this morning because the old machines are still here and now I feel like the biggest idiot ever just cause I didn't want to deal with it. Thanks for the great video. Fixed my problem last night which I could never have done without your instructions. And I never do this kind of stuff! One thing I did was to start using the wet vacuum about a quarter of the way into the repair, based on your slight comment. There was a lot of water in the machine and it was taking forever using the rags to soak it up as it drained. I put the wet vacuum nozzle next to the drain and sucked most of the water in as it poured out. Key was to open the cover ever so slightly and putting the nozzle right where it was pouring out and it worked like a charm. The wet vac. sucked in most of the water. Sped up the process and less mess. Can't thank you enough. Much appreciated.

You amazing legend! I'm a stay-at-home parent of two small boys with cloth diapers and we NEED our washing machine to be running well. Following this video was a cakewalk and I found the culprit easily! (_Four_ baby socks that had been sucked down the drain and concealed into an impassable plug of dirt and muck and grime). You saved us so much money from having to call a repairman! Thank you so so so much!!

Thank you so much! We had this exact problem with this exact washer and I googled on a whim thinking I might find some generic info about how to make a fix and came across your video! It was easy to follow and I was able to fix the issue by myself! Our problem ended up being just the filter, which was so clogged up but very easy to clean out in the end. However, I am now also confident that I could replace the drain pump if necessary after watching your video! I also want to say that we've had TWO repair people come out to check our machine and neither addressed the filter - it seems like that would have been step one in a draining problem. It is surely proof to your point that you never know who you are getting when you bring someone into your home! Our washer is working great now and I appreciate this video so much!

As a 70 year old woman, growing up in a household with 8 kids and a dad who always reminded us that "money doesn't grow on trees" I found your video extremely helpful. We were getting error codes on our washer and it would just stop before the load was done. My husband would rather call a repairman than look at it himself. I watched the video and in less than 10 min had the cover off and knob unscrewed, it did let out quite a bit of water even though there was none visible in the drum. I will say it smelled awful and the filter was disgustingly dirty and clogged. This is obviously the answer to our washer problem. Thank you again for your step by step detailed video.

Thanks very much. I just took the filter plug out and found $$24.10 for all day trying to get the door to unlock. Ther was another coin, either a toonie/loonie worn so thin so must've been a long time prroblem. Not my house/machine. Will decide if I give it to my bro when he returns. LoL Prolly tho, I am such a pushover & I texted me when I told him the door wouldn't unlock and told me not to try fix anything ha but now I tried again and it keeps reverting back to wash and add garment.

I one different technique. After I trace the edge on the second board and run it through the band saw, I use that piece as a template for the rest. Much easier and super quick than tracing individually. Great video. Thanks. 👍👍
